How To Generate High Profile Backlinks
What Ranks Well In Search Engines?
Many moons ago in a land far, far away there was a component of website optimization called Seo Copywriting.
These magical aliens called Copywriters had a unique magic that could “deliver” the right keywords in all the right places in the script and with all the correct amount of density, for which, when Google analyzed the content, would in turn give it top ranking in their SERPS.
Unfortunately for many bloggers, they simply do not have this “magical power” to be able to implement this into their own writings (myself being one of them!!)
With all that being said, we have to look for alternative methods that can help your own blog posts rank higher in the search engines as a more natural source. One way in which this can be successfully implemented is with this use of generating high profile backlinks.
A Backlink – links from other websites to your own website. This is the most effective way to improve your rankings. Not all backlinks are equal. Some of these backlinks won’t improve your rankings at all, therefore, your focus should be on acquiring high profile backlinks. The easiest way to generate backlinks is through blog commenting.
Blog commenting can serve as a multiple purpose. If you target high PR websites to post comments on you should be able to get high profile backlinks to your site, but also, if your comment is compelling and compliments the topic, you could also get some valuable targeted traffic from it as well.
Before we begin, one fantastic firefox plug-in that will really help you find top rated websites with a high PR SEOquake
on your browser.
The SEOquake Plug-in shows you a detailed analysis of all the websites upon a keyword search. The information that SEO quake shows is: Google page rank, alexa ranking and other detailed traffic. You’ll therefore be able to go straight to higher ranked sites to get high profile backlinks.
Although some highly ranked websites will have a “no follow” policy, it’s still worth commenting on them, as you could get some great traffic if your comments are constructive and deemed valuable.
Many people looking to post comments know that a .com website is a Top Level Domain (TLD), but if you want to get much higher profile linkbacks then look to comment on both ,gov and .edu websites. Both of these types of website are held in high regard by the search engines, as they are governed as authority sites, so if you post valuable comments onto these types of site, the backlinks created will help you get ranked that much faster.
Finding such websites to post comments onto, isn’t that difficult as long as you know where to look.
Start off by going to Google and typing in to the search bar:
site:.edu inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “niche”.
For my own personal search I would be searching for the “make money” niche, so my search term would something like this:
site:.edu inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “money”
From the listed results, go to any page that has a PR3 or above. Read the blog, then leave a comment.
Avoid using comments like : great post, fantastic tips, wonderful idea etc etc…..
Comments that aren’t constructive will simply get your link juice removed and you’ll have wasted valuable time.
The more compelling your comment is towards the subject matter, the better the chances that the moderator will accept your post and you’ll earn valuable high profile linkbacks!
By replacing “site:.edu” with “site:.gov” in your search term, you’ll target .gov links.
Be wary though, when you target the results, look at other comments posted on the website. If there is a lot of spam, then walk away. Websites with a lot of spam, can hinder your ranking efforts, so avoid posting comments to these types of sites.
As we have already illustrated, .edu and .gov websites can give you great high profile linkbacks, but you also need to target lesser ranked sites as well. Then also write comments in forums, squidoo pages, youtube etc etc so that you can get a well established variation of linkbacks. The larger the circle of variation will be seen by Google and thus, start to rank your own website far more productively.
